Intro to Entrelac

2 hours $30 per Session

June 18 9 - 11 A.M.
August 7 9-11 A. M.

Course Description:
The pretty basketweave stitch known as Entrelac gives an interesting texture to your knitting. The work looks like strips of Stockinette Stitch that have been woven on the bias. It can be used as an allover pattern for sweaters or vests, or in isolated areas such as cuffs, yokes, or sock tops. It is a great choice for variegated yarns with long lengths of each color, such as Noro's Kureyon.

Supplies:
Approximately 1 oz smooth worsted weight yarn in at least two different colors, needles in the size that you usually use for worsted weight yarn, stitch markers, and a blunt tapestry needle.

Homework: None.
