Learn the basics of knitting socks - a quick and portable project! We will learn a very elastic cast-on for ribbing, how to create the heel flap and turn the heel, how to shape the toe, and finishing with Kitchener Stitch while making full-size sock. Experience with double-point needles is not required.

Intermediate Level Knitters

Cost: $95 (includes patterns).

Supplies: Approximately 3 oz worsted weight yarn (a smooth yarn in a light solid color will make it easier to see your stitches) and a set of 4 or 5 double-point needles in the size that gives you a gauge of 6 sts/in in Stockinette Stitch.
